Pagani has unveiled its latest masterpiece, the Huayra Codalunga Speedster, an open‑top hypercar that fuses mid‑century racing aesthetics with state‑of‑the‑art engineering. Handcrafted by Pagani’s Grandi Complicazioni division, this long‑tail speedster is a tribute to the elegance and performance of 1950s and ’60s race cars, offering a minimalist yet sculptural design language.

Externally, the Speedster adopts the extended silhouette of the Codalunga coupe it is based on, stretching to about 193.3 inches. This makes it 11 inches longer than the standard Huayra. Its greenhouse features a dramatically lowered windshield and side windows that arc delicately into the bodywork. While the removable hardtop echoes classic aerodynamic canopies, when removed, it leaves behind a clean and uninterrupted profile. Right from nose to tail, the form is uninterrupted and fluid.

Designer: Pagani

Every curve and panel is meticulously shaped for aerodynamic purity. Air is channeled via hidden NACA ducts in the underbody, while smooth surfaces minimize drag. CFD‑refined wheel arches complement an integrated front splitter, delivering balance across the axles without resorting to overt wings or vents. Subtle six‑outlet exhaust tips (four centrally mounted and two tucked into the diffuser) complete the rear visual narrative. The powertrain is a twin‑turbocharged 6.0 L Mercedes‑AMG V‑12, outputting 864 hp and 811 lb‑ft of torque, identical to the Huayra Utopia and more potent than the original Codalunga coupe. Power is routed through a seven‑speed Xtrac gearbox, and for the first time, Pagani offers a true manual option alongside its automated‑manual setup, making the Speedster the second Huayra ever to feature a stick shift after the Epitome.

Engineering is rooted in lightweight strength. The monocoque combines Carbo‑Titanium and Carbo‑Triax composites to achieve rigidity without excess mass. Active suspension, Brembo carbon‑ceramic brakes, Avional wheels, and Pirelli Trofeo R tires deliver the precision and responsiveness expected from a hypercar of this caliber. Inside, the cockpit is a testament to artisanal craftsmanship. Surfaces are adorned with hand‑stitched leathers, solid‑milled metals, and a unique embroidery inspired by Pagani’s signature quad‑exhaust motif. Reports note this haute couture trim involves over 450,000 meticulously sewn stitches. Mahogany accents on the steering wheel and shifter nod to the mid‑century aesthetic while reinforcing a tactile, analog feel.

Production will be strictly limited to ten units, each fully homologated for global road use, with customer deliveries anticipated to commence in 2026. While pricing has not been officially disclosed, the cost is expected to exceed the coupe’s €7 million base, likely pushing toward a significantly higher figure given its exclusivity and bespoke open‑top design. In a market increasingly focused on overt aero, electrification, and aggressive styling, the Pagani Huayra Codalunga Speedster stands apart.

It is a rolling sculpture that embodies timeless design, analog driving purity, and the luxury of bespoke craftsmanship. For collectors seeking an emotional connection and a visceral driving experience, it symbolizes the rarest intersection of art and automotive performance. Does it overshadow the Huayra R Evo (a more sportier version) revealed in the latter half of last year is purely subjective.

Nike and LEGO are two iconic companies in their own right that have long inspired us to learn, play, and create. So, when the two brands decided to collaborate to give kids a world where sports and creative play always win, there was nothing more fascinating for even the adults to appreciate. There have been rumors of what’s coming out in the collaboration, but the wait is finally over. The first result of their partnership is here: the fully co-branded Nike Dunk x LEGO Set.

An inspiring set that celebrates imagination, sneaker culture, and the spirit of basketball in the same breath was dropped on July 1, 2025, for an amazing $99.99 tag. It’s an electrifying display of colors, elements, and playfulness that kids above the age of 10 will enjoy rebuilding and displaying at home. However, I’m sure the crazy Dunk fans are not going to miss their chance to get home the memorabilia, even if it means hosting an ardent LEGO builder friend for a sleepover. Arguably, this is the hottest LEGO build of the season. The creation is not just a toy, it’s a unification of culture and imagination at its pinnacle.

Designer: Nike x LEGO

“Kicks, bricks, and a whole lot of hype” come together in the Nike Dunk x LEGO Set, which doesn’t include the Nike Dunk as the main element by default. The choice is to celebrate the iconic status and the cultural relevance that the silhouette has enjoyed once on and off the court, and how it is making a resurgence among kids of late. The set, predominantly in blue and white colorway, comprises 1,180 pieces and is designed “for kids to build, rebuild, and display. The almost real brick-built Nike Dunk in blue and white remains on display, accompanied by a rotatable brick basketball (not intended for play), the Dunk logo in 3D letters, and a minifig wearing Nike Dunks.

The minifigure with an orange basketball head (and its eclectic elements) is outfitted with its own Nike Drip and Dunks. The Jersey sports number 32 on the front – a nod to the number of years the LEGO Group has been entertaining us – and number 72 on the back, which is a reference to the number of years it’s been since Nike released its first shoe. The minifig can either stand guard at the bottom of the display or hide inside the secret compartment in the LEGO Dunk (which is revealed by pulling the heel back or lifting the tongue upward). While the blue and white colorway looks cool, if you want the Dunk in your build to look a little different, you can pull open the toe and bring out the faded green laces to replace the blue ones instantly.

No matter how much you talk about wearable tech it is never enough. Fashion and technology are walking hand-in-hand at various platforms reinventing the wheel of how and what we wear. In that league, Nik Bentel Studio, which has been pushing the boundaries of product design and fashion to exemplary levels has come up with a 4-channel mixer and speaker that women can carry like a bag.

What? A sound system that doubles as a bag? Boombox, are you listening? This uncanny bag + speaker + mixer doesn’t have your heavy, box-like aesthetic; instead, it takes on a chic appearance – sort of like EDC for women. It is inspired by Nik Bentel’s own Tati Bag, which has a nice leather sheen and top flap, which pulls up from the body of the bag to reveal the interior section. The Tati Fête Bag: Speaker + Mixer shares the same appearance, but with a transparent body revealing its electronic guts, yet being aptly functional.

Designer: Nik Bentel Studio

This unconventional speaker-mixer hybrid continues on Bentel’s exploration of unusual yet functional. It may not thrive on the bulky aesthetic of the boombox, but it does wear the same usability fabric, where you can carry quality music along, playing in the hand instead of above the shoulder, right behind your ear.

The speaker bag is designed to be your personal sound system but will be available in limited quantity. The onboard mixer features a functional 4-channel audio mixer and would set you back $400. It is available in two: black and white color options. Each of these speaker bags is made by hand in the designer’s New York studio through precision-machined translucent acrylic, which showcases the circuitry and hardware inside, and delivers a nice retro-modern appeal.

Instead of the original inspiration’s leather top flap, this 8″ x 12″ x 1–2″ bag features a magnetic closure and is powered by DC 5V. Equipped with a 4-channel mixer, the built-in speaker is compatible with CD players, phones, and amplifiers, and includes both 3.5 mm and 6.3 mm stereo jack plugs. It connects wirelessly via Bluetooth and supports a stereo/mono switch for added mixing flexibility. Designed to be carried as handbag, this mixer combines functionality and fashion, making it both a statement piece and a tribute to music culture. For a music lover, it’s a stylish way to show their passion.

A cool aspect of this speaker bag is a built-in LED display that shows decibel levels in real time. The adjustable display is made of a 16-bit two-color LED matrix and is nicely positioned to create a fun visual flair. The controls on the speaker bag are simple, you have a main volume knob and four-channel knobs for each option.

]]>

The craze for flying commuters is not going to die anytime soon. Whether they are a practical option or not, for most urban spaces and cross-state transportation, is anybody’s guess. There have been a lot of prototypes (some nearing production phase) and concepts we’ve seen in the last few years including the AeroHT eVTOL, Jetson ONE, or CycloTech. Another one joins them in the prototype stage with a form factor unlike any other that is close to meeting fruition.

Texas-based FusionFlight has announced the Axion aircraft, which is an improved version of the AB5 JetQuad prototype introduced in 2019 that was eventually superseded by the improved model. Codenamed AB6 quadcopter VTOL, the compact jet-engine drone measuring almost the size of a large suitcase produced 840N of thrust from its quad jet engine setup.  The flying machine has a top speed of 250 mph and a flight time of 15 minutes on a full tank of 5 gallons.

Designer: FusionFlight

The AB6 has its limitations, and that’s where the Axion comes in. Most importantly, it is a manned flying vehicle, unlike its predecessor, which is only good for unmanned operations. That explains the single-passenger aircraft’s larger size (comparable to a hatchback) and total weight of 330 lbs. The diesel or kerosene-powered aircraft can haul a load of 80 kg, meaning the VTOL is not meant for people who weigh beyond that limit. Understandably, to carry that much load, it has eight micro-turbine jet engines that deliver a combined thrust of 809 lb-ft. This gives Axion the freedom to take off and land vertically on any terrain. The top forward speed of 225 mph is another plus, especially in search and rescue missions. In case of an engine failure, the other working jet engines can make it fly safely to the nearest landing spot.

The rider can maneuver the flying vehicle via two fly-by-wire joysticks in manual mode. For autonomous flight, simply selecting the destination on the touchscreen is all that’s required. That gives the aircraft the ability to fly unmanned via remote control input. This should be useful in hauling cargo to remote locations where transportation is still a bottleneck. In the unmanned mode, the flight time should get a little boost as the VTOL doesn’t have a human flyer onboard.

Axion has a 15-gallon fuel tank, but given it has to carry a much higher load, the fly time remains at 15 minutes just like its predecessor. According to Founder Alex Taits, the ground tests of the VTOL have already begun, and the inaugural test flight is scheduled for the end of this year. FusionFlight has plans to build the Axion to order for a price tag of $289,995. That should mean the VTOL is going to be only within the reach of the fat-pocketed. We just hope the development team makes everything safe when it hits the production lines. After all, who wants to revisit the horrors of the catastrophic Titan submersible implosion?

]]>

A center table in the living room or a nightstand by your bedside is no longer just about design, craftsmanship, or aesthetic appeal—it now needs to do more. Tables today are expected to meet consumers’ evolving needs by offering features like device charging, lighting, and personal storage. If you’ve attended an international design event recently, you might be inclined to disagree. Designers are taking us into a wonderland of furniture (especially tables) that showcase elegant curves, intricate woodworking, and sustainable materials. But if you consider our shifting priorities in everyday life, convenience is of paramount importance. That’s where the demand for tables that serve as all-in-one hubs is shooting through the roof.

The Lumera concept responds directly to this shift. Presented as a modern side table, Lumera combines the softness of organic design with the silent intelligence of embedded functionality. Its aesthetic leans into a calming minimalism—rounded contours, balanced proportions, and a harmonious blend of materials that make it feel less like a standalone object and more like a natural extension of the space it inhabits.

Designer: Vladimir Dubrovin

The design appears to subtly accommodate lighting, hidden drawers, and possibly wireless charging, all the features expected from future-ready furniture, yet it achieves this without visual clutter or overt gadgetry. This serves as a quiet alternative to overtly tech-laden furniture, making it appealing for those who want functionality without sacrificing atmosphere. The use of materials also plays a significant role in Lumera’s appeal. It seems to feature warm, tactile finishes, perhaps solid wood tops paired with fluted or tambour-style bases, that nod to naturalism and sustainability. These textures offer a break from cold, synthetic surfaces, inviting touch and daily use while elevating the surrounding space. It’s a table that fits effortlessly beside a bed, sofa, or lounge chair, providing practical storage and light while blending into diverse interior palettes.

What intrigues me most about the concept design is its concealed nightstand that props up with the touch of a button to set the right ambiance. This is especially useful when side table space is a premium, and you don’t have to get a separate table lamp for your nighttime wind-down routine. By the morning, when it’s time to get going, the lamp conceals back into the bottom of the table housing. Thus, you can use it in other sections of the home as well. The separately divided top section of the table lets you organize essential things without any visual clutter, and the tabletop rotates in any direction depending on your needs.

The growing appeal of such hybrid furniture reflects a wider cultural evolution. People are seeking simplicity, but not at the cost of convenience. They want furniture that does more while taking up less mental and physical space. Lumera is a response to that desire is a side table that fits today’s rhythm, where our objects must do more but look like they’re doing less.

]]>

This might look like just another velomobile, but it is not. The electric commuter is an e-bike with an elongated form for riders who desire a more comfortable riding experience, rather than hunching over on the handlebars, which can be tiring for multiple-hour drives. This Electrom LEV ebike, targeted towards an all-weather riding experience, especially in torrential rain and snow. In crowded cities, the two-wheeler can utilize bike lanes, and its 26-inch-wide footprint gives riders the freedom to ride with confidence.

The electric commuter makes sense in the current landscape, where on average, every day 105 million North American people prefer riding their personal vehicles. According to Electrom, they aim to address the issues of inefficient energy use, parking spaces, and highway lanes with their iteration. Electrom is targeted toward single commuters who want to venture on solo tours of more than 200 miles in a safe, comfortable, and sustainable manner. There is space for storing essentials in the 100-liter cargo compartment, which can be detached if you have a companion.

Designer: Electrom

This slim e-bike gives the rider confidence to go ahead on trips without the fear of the elements, thanks to the built-in cowling made out of polycarbonate material. If the conditions get really bad, a full-body tarpaulin can be wrapped around the bike to create a cozy cocoon. The body cover can lift up or down to protect the rider’s legs in bad weather conditions and also improve the aerodynamics to increase the overall range when deployed. To easily get inside and exit the bike, there is a swing-away front fairing. The road-legal bike doesn’t have any gear change mechanism, just a throttle and brakes for easy drivability. However, there is a generator chain drive system to give the bike a needed boost while pedaling. This attribute makes it lucrative for riders who don’t like the complication of driving inputs.

The makers have reinforced the tires, suspension, and wheels to take on rough surfaces. The standard range of 125 miles can be beefed up by adding extra battery packs. The design and manufacturing team have kept the parts of the e-bike as close to standard as possible for easy repair and replacement of parts. That design ethos spills over to the color schemes as well. The user can swap the vinyl wraps to get a fresh look anytime without having to go through a new paint job. The Frame of the bike, carbon fiber components, and polycarbonate panels are custom-made in their factory in Canada.

According to Electrom, the bike can travel thousands of miles without the need for any costly maintenance, making it affordable to own. In tandem with the easy availability of the components, the e-bike is highly practical compared to other designs that use proprietary motors and batteries that may not be supported by the manufacturer in the future. Priced at CAD 15,500 for the deluxe model, the e-bike can be stashed with a carbon tailbox for an additional CAD 1,000.

As a rule of thumb, you want the camper in the back of your truck to be lightweight. There are multiple reasons for it: safety, performance, and durability. I don’t want to get into details of it, but if you know what I’m trying to imply, you would like the Switchback pick-up camper. At just 375 lbs, it is a great option for those prioritizing weight savings.

The feather-light camper is made entirely of rot-proof aluminum, which adds to its longevity, and makes the Switchback a solid investment for people who camp in different weather conditions throughout the year. Of course, the weight is the first striking aspect from a camper’s point of view; but for me, it’s the A-frame form factor, which really wins the heart.

Designer: Aliner

Designed equally well for off-roading into the wild or camping under the stars, the Switchback, by Pennsylvania RV manufacturer Aliner, is compatible with most mid-size and full-size trucks. When in drive mode, the camper folds down into a box and sticks just slightly above the bed walls. You can park the vehicle easily in the garage with the camper mounted or take it where your heart desires without impacting the mileage too much. When you’re at the camp, clip open the box, lift up the side hard walls in A shape, stretch out the inner fabric lining and swing the split door open to have yourself a nice sleeping camper. The entire folding and unfolding process takes under 30 seconds.

Aliner has not done anything fancy in the Switchback. Provided with a comfortable 60″ x 72″ bed (which doubles as bench seating, when you’re living out a mid-day storm at the camp), the camper is only your cozy above-ground shelter on a short overnight or, at max, a weekend adventure. Aliner is mulling the addition of an electrical system, but that’s for an upgraded model. For now, it’s the bare minimum that you’re going to get for the $9,500 asking price.

This is Aliner’s first niche pick-up camper, but not the first A-frame camper. The Pennsylvanian manufacturer is a world leader in compact and versatile campers, most A-shaped, symbolizing freedom and exploration. The Switchback, in addition to the sleeping arrangement inside, features a pair of long, lockable drawers, just outside at the entrance, below the camper floor. The drawers are 5 feet deep and should be able to store a camping stove, adventure gear, and other necessities. The cabin interior however measures 5.8 feet at the highest point. It is not standing height for everyone, but should be comfortable enough for the time two people plan to spend within the Switchback. Given its basic features, robust construction, and unique shape, the pick-up camper is easily the best, lightweight, full hard-sided truck camper out there!

]]>

For an audiophile, Audio Technica is not an unheard brand, bringing high-fidelity audio to our ears with a balanced sound signature. The Japanese manufacturer prides itself on durable and reliable performance at an excellent price range. Known for its quality studio gear like headphones, mics, and amps, the brand has a strong foothold in the IEM and earbuds market. No matter if you are a casual listener or someone who performs on the big stage, Audio Technica has got the right pair for you.

Riding on the success of the ATH-TWX9 released in 2022, the successor is here in the shape of ATH-TWX9MK2 noise-cancelling wireless earbuds. The TWX9 garnered a lot of attention because of its sound quality and unique self-sanitizing capabilities. Even though I’ve never gotten my hands on the pair, I have used LG Tone Free FN7 earbuds that have a similar feature aimed at audiophiles who care about hygiene.

Designer: Audio Technica

ATH-TWX9 wireless earbuds retain the stem design while adding a lot of upgrades that should pit them well against the likes of Sony, Bose, and Technics. The form factor is a tad sleeker, and the oval housing promises a secure grip for better stability. The buds come with IPX4 water-resistance protection for protection against the odd water splashes. However, the case gets no such protection rating, which makes it vulnerable to water splashes or a dunk in the shallowest of pools. The self-cleaning feature comes courtesy of the integrated UV LED sterilization system that sanitizes the buds when they are resting inside the case. They have made the buds and the case more resistant to smudges and scratches with a matte finish and satin accents.

The real deal maker is the improved sound driver that is more sensitive towards mid-range and dynamic range. Also, Audio Technica has certified them for High-Resolution Wireless. This means the vocals will be crisp and the low end should have more rumble, just like some of the open-back headphones. Supported audio codecs, including Qualcomm aptX Adaptive (up to 96 kHz 24-bit), the standard AAC, and the SBC formats should suffice the needs of every type of listener. Another major consideration is the inclusion of feed-forward and feed-backward MEMS microphones for hybrid active noise cancellation. These microphones have a frequency response ranging from 20 Hz to 10 kHz with a sensitivity of −38dB (1V/Pa at 1 kHz), making them ideal for clear calls in the noisiest of environments.

They come with a runtime of six hours when ANC is on and up to 18.5 hours in the case. This number is even more when the ANC is turned off.  ATH-TWX9 comes pre-loaded with nature and meditation sounds for kickstarting your day on a positive note or winding down in the evening. The earbuds will come in black or white color options with a price tag of 38,500 Yen (approximately $270). They’ll be released initially in Japan on July 11, 2025, with a global release coming soon after, with an expected price of $300, just like their predecessors.

]]>

Gamers know the importance of having the right hardware to gain a tactile advantage over opponents. The mouse is one of those vital peripherals that lets you have the slight advantage when points are slipping away on the leaderboard. High sensitivity on the knife’s edge is another attribute of a good gaming mouse for impressive KDR in FPS games. Not to forget the importance of weight, less is always more in the case of a gaming mouse.

YouTuber Juskim wanted to create a custom mouse for gamers who want everything up their alley. In the process, he ended up creating together a gaming mouse that is unofficially the world’s smallest as far as we know. Given his affinity for tiny peripherals, the tiny size was an eventuality. Earlier this year, he put togetherthe world’s lightest wireless mouse (not a gaming mouse to be precise), and now he has built this one to be even smaller and lighter at just 15 grams.

Designer: Juskim (YouTube)

The key to the lightweight credentials while reducing the already mini size is the 3D-printed skeletonized frame that has structural strength to take on the onslaught of the most animated gamers who like to vent out their emotions amidst intense gaming action. To improve the surface grip, the creator added texture. The PCB fitted onto the frame is smaller than the previous wireless mouse. To make it a complete package that’s worthy of zero nitpicks, Juskim sealed the deal with a PAW3395 sensor having a 8KHz sampling rate (up to 26K DPI resolution) for precise inputs. Since the sensor is used in high-end gaming mice, you’ll be assured of prime input control. On top of that, the wireless gaming mouse has up to 650 IPS (Inches Per Second) tracking speed, and handles 50g acceleration with ease.

All the hardware is secure inside the 3D-printed housing; including components like buttons, battery and charging circuit. While everything else seems top-notch from the DIY built video, there’s one fundamental flaw that may let the whole thing down. Yes, you guessed it right – the small size leaves very little real estate for a good grip while gaming. Just imagine playing a high-octane battle in a multiplayer game with this small mouse. Of course, a standard-sized gaming mouse can be put together with all these components, but where’s the fun in that? Of course, that can be easily worked around with a bigger shell that houses this small mouse to get a normal form factor. Nonetheless, the DIYer needs to be appreciated for the unique creation, and there were no corners cut as far as the hardware goes to achieve the small size. We hope he at least gets his space in The Guinness Book of World Records.

When premium design meets precision engineering, you get something as exciting and inducing as the O Turntable. The brainchild of iconic British guitar amp maker Orange Amps, the turntable is the first from the company, yet is built with music aficionados in mind who yearn for high-fidelity vinyl sound. The turntable is designed and created based on decades of experience in audio performance, which Orange Amps has managed on stage since 1968, when the company made its first guitar value amplifier.

Since revolutionizing the guitar valve amplifier design and sound technology, our favorite amp company has come a long way. It now makes consumer audio devices, including headphones, award-winning Bluetooth speakers, and of course, all kinds of amps for musicians. With the launch of the O Turntable, Orange has added another feather to its cap and entered a new product category, which, with the O Turntable is surely going to experience some change.

Designer: Orange Amps

If you look back in time; the kind of experience Orange Amps entails, one would actually expect some sort of retro-modern impression on the turntable. However, the iconic brand has taken a very contemporary approach, the O Turntable blends modern convenience with audiophile-level features you’d expect from the company. Built from scratch in the UK, this plug-and-play device borrows the goodness of a record player and brings Orange’s sound heritage from the stage to your drawing room.

To ensure that, the interestingly designed O Turntable flaunts a white gloss plinth overlaid with a ‘Voice of the World’ slipmat. The turntable has a belt-driven deck and features a 23mm high-mass phenolic platter, which according to the company, assures very smooth rotation and speed stability, courtesy of the flywheel effect that is actually possible in very expensive models. The vibration for stable sound playback is further controlled by the use of a custom PCB and aluminum pulley on the 24V low-noise synchronous motor. There is also an auto-bias tonearm and moving magnet phono stage built into the O Turntable, so it is ready to play right from the word go.

The clean, lifestyle-oriented appearance of the turntable is maintained by the power switch hidden underneath the plinth. Its versatility, however, is assured by its compatibility with a wide range of audio devices that include the Orange Pyramid System. If you want a high-fidelity partner for your vinyl collection, that doesn’t break the bank, you can trust the O Turntable. It is slated to go on sale, through Orange Amps, in late July, starting with the USA, and followed by other countries. The glossy white vinyl player will set you back £499 (approximately $699) and come stored in a transparent glass box.
