When Titan decided to enter the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève with their second flying tourbillon, they could have easily gone the predictable route of Swiss-inspired complications wrapped in precious metals. Instead, they chose something far more audacious: putting 225 years of Jaipur’s architectural heritage directly on your wrist. The Jalsa represents India’s second flying tourbillon watch ever, but the first to feature a hand-painted design… and at ₹40.5 lakh ($47,367 USD) a pop, limited to just 10 pieces, it’s a bold statement that luxury doesn’t have to be culturally neutral.

This watch carries the weight of expectation for an entire nation’s horological ambitions. While Titan has been making timepieces for decades, the Jalsa positions them as serious contenders in haute horlogerie, complete with a GPHG entry that signals India’s arrival on the global stage. The name “Jalsa” translates to celebration, and that’s exactly what this watch represents: a celebration of technical mastery married to cultural storytelling in ways that most luxury brands wouldn’t dare attempt.

Designer: Titan

The technical foundation is impressive enough on its own merits. The in-house flying tourbillon movement comprises 144 components and 14 jewels, with the escapement positioned at 6 o’clock in Titan’s logo shape. The 18K rose gold case measures 43.5mm in diameter and weighs a substantial 68 grams, giving it the heft that serious collectors expect from a statement piece. It’s a curious thing, watching luxury watchmakers dip their toes into the world of high-performance vehicles. The precision engineering, the obsession with mechanical perfection, the almost neurotic attention to detail – these traits translate remarkably well from tiny wrist-bound timepieces to roaring machines. Richard Mille, the Swiss brand whose watches routinely command six-figure prices and adorn the wrists of Rafael Nadal and F1 drivers, has now turned its horological expertise toward the asphalt with the RMB01 superbike, created in partnership with legendary British motorcycle manufacturer Brough Superior.

This isn’t Richard Mille’s first venture beyond watchmaking – the brand has previously dabbled in racing partnerships and automotive-inspired timepieces (remember the world’s thinnest mechanical watch with Ferrari in 2022?) – but the RMB01 represents their most ambitious crossover yet. The chassis follows the same less-is-more philosophy, with a CNC aluminum frame connected to a self-supporting forged carbon exoskeleton. The suspension setup features Brough Superior’s signature Fior-type fork with double wishbone, separating steering from braking forces for exceptional stability through corners. Look closely at the wheels and you’ll notice divided rims that mirror the layered gear trains in a luxury watch movement. Even the speedometer has been reimagined as a mechanical display that would look at home on a Richard Mille timepiece.

Close your eyes and imagine a laptop. Chances are, you thought of a sleek metal gadget like a MacBook Air, not a clunky IBM Thinkpad from 2005. Close your eyes and now think of a car, and the chances of you thinking of something sleek and wedge-shaped are close to zero. Sure, you would have imagined something aerodynamic – but nothing like the wedge-shaped Lancia Stratos HF Zero from 1970, or the Peralta S right here. This one-off machine takes the concept of “less is more” and applies it to automotive design in the most extreme way possible, creating an unbroken line from nose to tail that makes every other supercar look cluttered and overthought. Just like Apple’s laptop made everyone else scramble to match its impossible thinness, the Peralta S makes you wonder why every other exotic car needs so many creases, vents, and visual noise when you could just build a perfect geometric statement instead.

The Peralta S is what happens when design royalty gets a blank check and decides to prove that minimalism can be more dramatic than maximalism. Fabrizio Giugiaro, son of the legendary Giorgetto Giugiaro, took up the challenge of updating his father’s 1972 Maserati Boomerang concept, and the result is equal parts art and engineering flex. The original Boomerang looked like a UFO with wheels and made the Geneva Motor Show crowd gawk with its impossibly clean lines and radical geometry. Now, decades later, Fabrizio has taken his dad’s angular fever dream, filtered it through modern manufacturing techniques, and landed on something that manages to be both a respectful homage and a totally new beast. The Peralta S doesn’t hide its roots, but it definitely wears new shoes.

Designer: Fabrizio Giugiaro

Underneath all that shiny hand-formed aluminum and carbon fiber, the Peralta S is built on the bones of a Maserati MC20. That means the power is real, not just for show. A 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6, known as the Nettuno, sits right in the middle, cranking out 621 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque. That’s enough muscle to bolt this wedge from zero to 60 in 2.9 seconds, putting it squarely in supercar territory. The eight-speed dual-clutch transmission is basically telepathic, sending all that power to the rear wheels and letting the car howl past 200 mph if you can find a road or runway long enough.

But you won’t find doors here. The Peralta S ditches convention by using a single, huge, front-hinged canopy that makes the MacBook Air’s clamshell opening look pedestrian. It lifts up like the cockpit of a fighter jet, making every entrance and exit an event while maintaining those clean lines that define the entire design philosophy. Even the windows do their own thing, swinging up gullwing-style so you can let the breeze in while looking like you stepped out of a sci-fi comic. The wheels are a modern nod to the old Boomerang’s alloys, slotted and sculpted, and the rear wing pops up automatically at speed, which is both a flex and a nod to the Countach crowd.

Inside, the Peralta S keeps things futuristic without going full spaceship. The dashboard and controls are based on the MC20, but the steering wheel is custom, with turn signal buttons at 1 and 11 o’clock in a configuration that feels both nerdy and weirdly ergonomic. Leather and carbon fiber wrap the entire cabin, and there’s enough tech to make you feel like you’re piloting something special, not just driving another expensive toy. The interior follows the same minimalist philosophy as the exterior, proving that you can strip things down to their essence without losing functionality or luxury.

Carlos Peralta, a collector from Mexico, commissioned the car, turning what could have been a corporate design exercise into a love letter between generations of car nerds. Giugiaro’s family legacy is written all over the bodywork, but it’s also a statement about what custom car design can be when you don’t have to think about mass production, safety regulations, or the taste of the average millionaire. The Peralta S is pure expression, risky and weird and unapologetically cool, like if Jony Ive had designed supercars instead of phones.

The Peralta S is a museum piece that moves like a missile, a future classic that bows to its predecessor while flipping off the idea that all supercars have to look the same. It’s a one-off, so you’ll never see another on the road, but that’s kind of the point. Sometimes, design is about reminding everyone what’s possible when you let artists and engineers run wild with someone else’s wallet and a dream. I don’t know about you, but I can almost spot the ‘Italian-ness’ in an Italian-made motorcycle. While Japanese bikes are precision instruments and American cruisers are statements of rebellion, Italian motorcycles are more akin to passionate arguments. These machines are built to prove a point about beauty, speed, and the human capacity for creating objects that make your heart race before the engine even fires. The new MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 Ago might be the most Italian motorcycle ever made.

Born to celebrate both MV Agusta’s 80th anniversary and the legacy of Giacomo Agostini, the most successful motorcycle racer of all time with 15 world championships, this isn’t just another limited edition. It’s a meticulously crafted time machine that connects modern engineering to the golden age of Grand Prix racing when Agostini dominated circuits aboard MV Agusta’s screaming three and four-cylinder racers. Only 83 will ever exist, matching the number of Ago’s Grand Prix victories with MV, each signed by the man himself and priced at a breathtaking $80,098.

The visual drama of the Superveloce 1000 Ago hits you immediately. Draped in Fire Red Matt and Magnum Silver Matt carbon fiber bodywork with Agostini’s yellow #1 proudly displayed on each flank, it manages to look both vintage and futuristic simultaneously. Those silver-spoked wheels, a nod to racing machines of yesteryear, sit in stark contrast to the carbon fiber everything else. The arrow-shaped stripes that once adorned Ago’s racing leathers are faithfully reproduced on the Alcantara seat. It’s retro-futurism executed with an obsessive attention to detail.

Beneath the nostalgic styling beats a thoroughly modern heart: a 998cc inline-four that produces 208 horsepower and revs to a stratospheric 14,000 rpm. Forged titanium components throughout the engine allow for that screaming redline, while the quad-exit Akrapovič exhaust system tucked under the tail ensures the soundtrack matches the visual drama. The Superveloce 1000 Ago also packs cutting-edge electronics, including cornering ABS, wheelie control, and launch control, all managed through a 5.5-inch TFT display with integrated GPS.

And there’s enough design/luxury overkill to justify the bike’s price tag, blurring the line between motorcycle and artifact. Each bike features an individually numbered 18K gold plate on its steering head. The ignition key itself is a work of art, housed in a red anodized aluminum shell containing a brass coin made from one of Agostini’s original racing trophies. It’s as if MV Agusta is saying: “This isn’t just transportation; this is a relic from a religion of speed.”

The lucky 83 who secure one of these machines won’t just get the motorcycle. MV Agusta has partnered with Dainese and AGV to offer a made-to-measure racing suit and special edition helmet at no additional cost. Though after dropping $80K on the bike itself, perhaps that’s the least they could do. Deliveries aren’t expected until January 2026, giving buyers plenty of time to prepare a suitable shrine in their garage.

The building’s upper levels, from floors 56 to 65, house the Penthouse Residences, which include seven penthouses and one triplex penthouse. These premium units feature private pools and expansive terraces that provide panoramic views of the surrounding cityscape and waterfront.

The development also includes Sky, Panoramic, and River Residences, each offering distinct design themes and amenities tailored to different preferences and lifestyles. European cabinetry and premium white marble flooring throughout living areas, kitchens, and bathrooms establish a consistent aesthetic throughout the building. Ten-foot and twelve-foot ceiling heights create spacious interiors that complement the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.

The most exclusive offering is a seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom residence spanning more than 27,000 square feet, complete with its own rooftop terrace and lap pool overlooking the city. This particular unit includes ownership of an Aston Martin Vulcan Hypercar, one of only 24 produced, valued at $2.3 million.
